ABOUT US
Salute to the Forces is a Community Interest Company created to celebrate and honour the dedication of our Armed Forces. Our organisation is made up entirely of volunteers who share a passion for preserving history and bringing communities together through meaningful, family-friendly events.
In July 2026, we will proudly launch our very first annual show at Betteshanger Country Park in Deal, Kent. Designed as a family fun weekend, the event will blend history, entertainment, and hands-on experiences, offering something special for visitors of all ages.
The event features a rich variety of attractions, including:
Living history groups
Home Front displays and reenactments
Military vehicles and classic cars
Tank rides and fire engine rides
Static Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft
A large traders’ village
A Comic Con section with cosplay and pop-culture fun
1940s and 1950s singers and dancers, bringing the vintage era to life
Family activities and entertainment throughout the weekend
As a CIC, every penny raised is reinvested into improving the show and supporting community-focused projects. We are driven not by profit, but by passion — a team of volunteers dedicated to preserving heritage, educating younger generations, and creating a memorable weekend for families, enthusiasts, veterans, and visitors alike.
